Mine Development Studies & Environmental Approvals
In addition to seeking the infrastructure solution, MinRes continues progressing with all technical studies and work programs relevant to mine development and environmental approvals for the Marillana JV Project. They include, not limited to:
- Geology (drill hole spacing study and resource modelling based on the results of close-spaced RC holes completed between November 2022 and February 2023),
- Hydrogeology (dewatering and water management design based on the recently completed water bore drilling and on-going testing and monitoring),
- Metallurgy (pilot plant testwork for process review and flow sheet design using the bulk sample obtained from an 18-hole Bauer drilling programme completed in February 2022),
- Environment (continuing with baseline flora and fauna survey and monitoring programs),
- Native Title and heritage related matters (NT agreement negotiations, heritage surveys, etc.) and
- Mining and engineering designs.
